I write to fight bullshit. book out now: The Millennial and the King
Since #AI has been making me so efficient and productive lately, I can enjoy doing more things I really care about. Like playing mobile games, such as "Spelling Bee" by The New York Times. ChatGPT's performance? We have so much to look forward to with this glorified auto-complete.

Hertz' new AI damage scanners are dead on arrival — and unfortunately, it's not the only company deploying the shoddy tech.

AI headshots... I don't know... They're creepy. 👀 No matter how much they may resemble me, I will never use them because I know they are not me. I wonder how long these companies will continue to exist. I spent $29 on that trial, but I'll never do it again.

Am I the only one who thinks it's funny that in a race to replace humans, the most valuable assets are... humans.

Not to mention the additional irony that the "messiah" of AI – the future superintelligence that we should trust and cherish – is paving his way with unreliable (at best) information.

My favorite part of this week's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver about AI slop. Perfectly sums up AI founders' contempt for real art and artists vs. what they themselves are "creating".

“Will PR survive AI?” is a coward’s attempt to arrest my peers’ attention. It’s the tip of my anxiety’s iceberg.

But frozen landscapes melt quickly these days, revealing their ancient essence: “Will I survive AI?”

To give you an idea of why most of the reviews mention the humor, I picked out a few quotes that I thought were worth sharing.

As James Safechuck and Wade Robson fight their nightmare in pursuit of justice, I hope to be an unexpected ally in weakening their enemy's greatest superpower: his image, his narrative, his myth.

The audience doesn’t root for Goliath. He needed a powerful adversary to the meek protagonist. A Kanye to the young Taylor Swift. A break to Rachel and Ross. Computers to December 31, 1999.

Whenever I get mail from a government agency, I assume it is a fine or an arrest. Instead, I receive information about the upcoming election. I basically have imposter syndrome for being a citizen.

Tragically, there is no such thing as The American Humanitarian Awards, no categories for Best Male or Female Humanitarian, Best Humanitarian Newcomer or Best Humanitarian Collaboration.

In 1993, #MichaelJackson went on a press tour that lasted just 40 days and generated 180 minutes of instant TV coverage, the equivalent of $45 million in ad spend, for free (worth nearly $100 million in 2025, adjusted for inflation): miriamschwellnus.substack.com/p/how-to-bec...
