I am neck-deep in the silent era, of course, and it's amazing how much they talked about quarantine and communicable diseases. There was a whole genre of comedies that revolved around lovers being quarantined together (like CUPID IN QUARANTINE below)

So basically most of us over 40 are legitimately cranky and anxiety-ridden, even in a "normal" time? Sounds about right...
