In Generations 3-4, all fully-evolved starter Pokémon are capable of learning Earthquake. From Generation 5 onward, only Fire-type starters from odd-numbered generations and Grass-type starters from even-numbered generations can learn Earthquake.

For some reason, the Paldea Pokédex does not display the location of Wild Tera Pokémon and Pokémon found only in Area Zero, giving the impression that Pokémon such as Tsareena, Corviknight and Dudunsparce cannot be found in the wild at all.

In older versions of Pokémon HOME, Shiny forms of Minior had a slight tint that indicated their form. This was inexplicably reverted in newer versions, and now all of Minior's Core Forms appear identical.

Torchic and Togekiss are capable of learning Mega Punch despite lacking arms or hands. Similarly, Dusknoir can learn Mega Kick in spite of it having no visible legs or feet.

Each member of Nincada's evolutionary family has a unique base stat total (Nincada's is 266, Ninjask's is 456, and Shedinja's is 236). This is also the only instance of a Pokémon's base stat total decreasing upon evolution.

In spite of its small wings and many Pokédex entries saying that it is incapable of flight, Vullaby has been able to learn Fly in every game it has been in.

Frillish and Jellicent were not originally designed as Ghost-type Pokémon, but it was added later due to balancing reasons. Their creator was also apparently disappointed with them ending up as "scary Pokémon".

Cosmog and Cosmoem are the only Pokémon that are unobtainable in a game without transferring in which their evolutions are avaliable.
