Rest and recovery leads to improvements. I have a rest day tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.

I guess there's potential for improvement, unlike on the Altona loop.

Dr Jane Goodall filmed an interview in March 2025 with the understanding it would only be released after her death. This is her final message.

It was. He's had fairly major surgery and is waiting on a diagnosis. Not sure this is going to end well but taking it one day at a time.

I visited my husband in hospital and he's still alive.

Roadwork related rather than a pothole, but this crash in Melbourne cost me $1,500 plus a day in hospital. No signs, just a couple of cm difference in the road surface where the gap was left by cutting into the bike lane. Not eligible for compensation. It's terrible.

This is Denni. She took an unexpected babysitting shift when she found a baby koala in her yard. She cheerfully delivered the joey to her human, who put them back in the tree to be reunited with their mom. 14/10 (FB: Steve Lamplough)
Denni, a golden retriever with a sweet face, sits and looks up at the camera with a smile. she has a passenger clinging to her back. a baby koala. the joey's eyes peak over the top of Denni's head. Denni is standing and looking off to the left of the frame. the baby koala on her back looks at the camera. a super zoomed photo of the baby koala and their mom high up in a tree. the adult koala holds onto her joey and looks down at the camera with what we would like to think is appreciation for caring for her baby.

This is democracy for hire. Fossil fuel lobbyists outnumber voices for the planet, while agencies and media help spin delay instead of action.”

Thanks. I ride indoors on a trainer too if the weather is terrible.
