• mobility devices incl walking sticks of any kind, crutches, wheelchairs
• pain treatment devices like TENS machines & heat pads
• earplugs, ear defenders, dark glasses, magnifying glasses
• stomas, incontinence pads, needing to wear period pants every day etc 🧵...

2. FLUCTUATING AND CUMULATIVE CONDITIONS:

• consider over 12 month period
• if your impairment affects the activity, at some stage in the day, on more than 50% of days in the year
• consider the consequences of activites that a non-disabled person wouldn’t have to deal with 🧵...

RELIABILITY = able to do the activity to a reasonable standard, measured in three ways:

• SAFELY - unlikely to harm you/others
• REPEATEDLY – as often as is required, not once in a while
• in a REASONABLE TIME PERIOD – no more than twice as long as a non-disabled person of your age would need 🧵...
