I’m just worried what that compensation is going to be. He might be the only QB worth drafting at the top of this class at this point, depending on what Dante Moore does. And there are a lot of needy/desperate teams that need a QB.

Well, the good thing is, we’ll get to see him in some more high leverage games through these playoffs. Maybe I’m wrong. He seems like a good prospect but not worth trading a bunch of draft capital. He looks like the best QB in a mediocre class.

A distraction… aka I actively worked against the players I was supposed to advocate for and now that everybody knows it, I will go back to my other jobs (which are a direct conflict of interest to being the head of the NFLPA).

I think that’s part of the problem. They didn’t have a real search for the position. JC Tretter changed the by-laws and installed this joker without a 30-day review so Tretter could eventually succeed him. The whole thing is shady as hell.

Except he won’t hit free agency next year. They’ll tag him. And every year he goes without a new contract is a year closer to him being an aging edge defender not worth the money that he’s worth right now. Cautionary tale for players on teams with cheap owners.

All this is correct except for #5. Pacers won’t play this well/shoot this well most nights. Cavs shot terrible from 3 and were still right there. Play that out over 7 games and Cavs still look good. I guess we’ll find out.
