Why is making the basics of government functional always the democrats fault? Dems don’t hold any branches of government (and while the courts are meant to be apolitical, SCOTUS clearly is not and clearly leans GOP). But sure, let’s blame the minority party
Republicans control the presidency, the Senate, and the House. They do not need a single Democratic vote to avoid a shutdown. If there's a shutdown, it's solely on Republicans. This type of reporting by Rachael Bade & @politico.com is disgraceful and wrong.

Agreed. There’s no point in Dems even being in congress at this point because they have no power there (until the next shutdown comes). But making good trouble in their home districts, that they absolutely can and should do

I’ve been pretty vocal against the criticism of ‘Dems are not doing enough to stop Trump’. B/C Dems don’t hold the WH or congress, so it’s fairly limited what they can do to fight EO
