The road-looking surface that breaks up the grass is called a DRIVEWAY, so called because cars have to drive on it! Probably not a good idea to park roughly 1/4 of your BMW sports car in the driveway. I can't afford to pay for damages when I leave so I called parking enforcement. I'm not sorry.

To be clear, I haven't lived in the NYC area for 20+ years but these are not New Yorkers. They're transplants. New Yorkers have far more critical thinking skills than to think NYC is going to cannibalize the NYE Times Square crowd for the Brooklyn Bridge. 😒
