The collection of carefully preserved specimens of plants are each accompanied by a small white typewritten paper label, which identifies the plant in the Navajo language as well as the common English name. The plants are arranged around the perimeter of the piece aligned with the frame, and each yarn leads inward toward the center connecting to the portion of the weaving where that yarn was used.

Finished with the crochet dog sweater. Julio enjoys it and didn’t fuss while wearing it for a walk earlier, so seems to be comfortable for him and not itchy or tight. #crochet #mushroom #dog #freestylecrochet
