It’s been like bloody Beirut in Birkenhead. Told the other half to bring our dog to me in rock ferry as it’s least it’s quiet here, but she’s shaking so much she won’t leave the house 😞

Had a fab few days in Paris for my birthday weekend. 32,000 steps walked on Saturday, 31’ heat & eating my own body weight in pastries 🥐 ☀️

A damp, dreary & humid day spent on a flying visit to London. Even when it’s raining the view on the Mall still looks pretty majestic 🇬🇧🏰 took myself on a little tour of Highgate to see the resting place of George Michael too 💙

Brilliant night in Blackpool with my dad, sisters & nephews watching the darts! Littlest nephew had the best night of his life, getting to watch his absolute hero Stephen Bunting & then getting his autograph too 😊 love how they still want to do things with us even though they are growing up 🎯

2 minutes later; “mummmmm- I think I’ve broke my foot”…..
1 trip to a&e, 1 X-ray & 2.5 hours later he’s going to be off work for 4-6 weeks and the sliders are going in the bin 🤦🏻♀️😫

An afternoon trip to the theatre to watch Hamilton (well worth the watch) followed by a trip to Aintree for an MRI on the old tiny brain tumour at 7.30 on a Saturday night (no need for an appointment at that time). I need a cup of tea!!

6 years ago today we were promoted to league one ……… and it all went a bit downhill from there sadly 😕 *sigh*

I’m not a catholic or deeply religious but I’m genuinely gutted by this 😞 Can’t explain why I loved the pope so much, I just thought he was brilliant. Sleep tight Pope Francis 💙

Flying visit to London yesterday. Spring has definitely sprung at Buckingham Palace gardens. So happy I got to see the Dangermouse plaque in Baker Street too as it’s always been missing when I’ve been before

Littlest nephew turns 12 today. Over the last 12 months I’ve gone from being his favourite auntie to woman he just about tolerates 🤦🏻♀️ looking forward to next years start of the teenage years and one word grunt answers 😂 happy birthday Harry 🎂🥳 xxx

Can’t claim to be a rugby fan really, but really enjoyed watching Italy V Ireland in the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon (and the sweltering sunshine all day helped too). The way the anthems were belted out were amazing! Be proud of your boys @mrcolinmurray.bsky.social 🇮🇹🇮🇪🏉
