Due to Trump's Executive Order 14238, 2025 proved tough for libraries with threats to the federal agency managing library funding. The District Court eventually rescinded these cuts.

Today, Alberta's two biggest school divisions say dozens of books have been taken off shelves as the province's ban took effect this week.

34 titles were removed by the Edmonton Public School Division, and 44 were removed by the Calgary Board of Education:

Heard a solid LLM integration into an assignment today:
Nurses get patients bringing info from "Dr Google" &now LLMs, so for this assignment nursing students go to Google, ChatGPT, &the library's databases for info about a health concern of their choice. Then critique the differences in sources. 📚

When citing multiple works: To draw a reader's attention to a particular citation, you can cite that work first and use “see also” (or a similar phrase) before the remaining citations in alphabetical order.

Example:
(Watson et al., 1988; see also Kuesten et al., 2014; Sandin, 2003)
