P6S have been busy creating a variety of Christmas decorations for you to purchase at the Christmas fayre tomorrow from 6-8pm ⭐️🎄🔔👼 we look forward to seeing you there! 🎅🏻

Our P6S home learning grid for term 2 has been updated and uploaded on our Google classroom🏡📖

We enjoy taking learning outdoors despite the weather🌧️ We are currently familiarising ourselves with native British tree species and how to identify them🌳🍂 We are very lucky to have many of them in our playground 🍃

P6S explored religious artefacts today as part of our ongoing learning of world religions in religious and moral education 📿 Here is a selection of many items we investigated from Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Hinduism ☪️🕎☸️🪯🕉️

P6S learned about el día de los muertos in Spanish. It starts today for the next 3 days and is celebrated in Mexico🇲🇽 and Latin America. We learned about the traditions, parades, and key vocabulary. We then created our own la catrina skulls including details such as las caléndulas💀Ask us about it🗣️

P6S enjoyed a wholesome end to the term by visiting our local care home this afternoon☺️ we chatted, read books, and played games with the residents📚 one of the residents described his time stationed in Berlin during the war which led to lots of questions🙋‍♂️ Happy holidays!

On Fridays, we will continue gardening and learning in our wonderful poly tunnel 🫛 If you have gardening gloves 🧤 can you please bring them in every week 🪏 Thank you 👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

We have been working hard tidying and clearing the poly tunnel for planting. We have been weeding, cutting back, clearing pathways, and cutting strawberry runners to take home to plant 🍓 lots more to come 👩‍🌾🧑‍🌾🪏
