Wife and mum, mad about animals, working in HR, I love reading, music, peloton, puppy training, soup making and baking! Currently studying an MSc in Business Psychology.
I hope everyone had a nice day. I got the one present that I asked for… a pair of socks with a photo of my dog on them. You can’t beat socks as a good Christmas gift. Am I alone in my love of receiving socks as a present?

The plan for tomorrow was to make a cheesecake. As we have friends now coming for lunch, the cheesecake is prepared and in the fridge to set. How will I sleep all night knowing it’s there and I can’t eat it yet? I must love my friends ❤️

If Bluesky had a theme tune then surely it would be Mr Blue Sky by ELO. One of my top ten tunes of all time ⭐️

The cat is currently running around the house with a live mouse in his mouth, my husband is trying to catch him. It’s like a comedy sketch.

My biggest claim to fame on Twitter was that one of my followers was Keith Chegwin. On here it seems to be Kevin Costner (how do I know if it’s real)?

Photo of the happy wet puppy in the car on the way home from his walk.

One of the best things about having a wet dog is towel drying him, he always gets the zoomies afterwards. I wish towel drying my own hair made me that happy, imagine having a life that simple and uncomplicated.

Watching my puppy splash in deep puddles on his walk in the woods today brought so much joy. He was like a baby splashing in a bath, it was so charming. He stinks now but I don’t care, he’s happy.

This cold weather is excellent for my diet. I turned down Friday night junk food in favour of roasted vegetables and fish because I didn’t want to leave the house.

I’m in a reading slump. My favourite authors are Chris Carter, Steve Cavanagh and John Marrs. Hit me with your recommendations.

Tonight’s dinner is homemade roasted sweet potato and carrot soup with tiger bread. The bread is shop bought as I’ve never attempted to make my own bread. My next challenge perhaps?

I was on Twitter years ago and the #hrcommunity was thriving. I had to quit social media for personal reasons. Now I’m hoping to build my network again. Hello HR peeps!

I’m very much looking forward to connecting with the #hrcommunity

This is Wee Man our 8 year old moggie from Cats Protection. Probably the grumpiest cat you will ever meet. His tail is always angry, even when the rest of him is purring. #catsofbluesky

Is it just me or are the people nicer around here? There’s a different vibe I’d say. Who agrees? It’s a good one!
