You have to question the training of an officer who would stand inches in front of a vehicle in the first place and then, when it starts moving, shoots at the driver from that distance rather than getting out of the way, esp as there was no one behind him who could also have been in peril.

Week one semester one of being an undergrad again: I submitted my assignments 5 days before the deadline so I will have time to do the reading before the next batch arrives.
If ever I wondered if being diagnosed and medicated for my ADHD has had an effect this would be the moment that happened.

I work in media. SEO and clicks now rule us all. If you click on an enraging headline and skim the article to become more enraged and then leave a comment about how enraging/silly/pointless the article is... THE OUTLET HAS WON. They will produce more of the same. Engagement is the metric of success.

On crime dramas i don't like when the bad guy has a dog. Dog people are supposed to be the good ones. And then I worry about the wellbeing of the dog.
