I’m working on wearing even more natural fibers this year. I cleaned out my closet and found some acrylic sweaters to donate, and a cotton cardigan in storage that I’m adding to my winter wardrobe. It doesn’t need to be an overnight, all-or-nothing change. It’s called slow fashion, after all.

Very excited about the long camel-colored 100% wool coat I found at the thrift store IN MY SIZE. However, I’m still searching for my ideal cardigan of the same color, preferably in merino or cashmere. I guess this is what you call the thrill of the hunt.

Dress for the day you want to have. For me, this means I usually pick a wool or cashmere sweater or cardigan for a cozy, luxurious feel. ✨

An affordable way to practice sustainable fashion in the new year: shop thrift stores or purchase pre-owned items from secondhand marketplaces. Decrease demand for fast fashion AND get luxe looks for less. ✨
