Is he not aware that Churchill was one of the driving forces behind the creation of the EHRC?

Pretty sure though, If a couple - refugees, one about to give birth - knocked on a reform voter's door they'd tell them to go somewhere else.

It would be very apt to poll this question the night before the new series of The Traitors starts, and if the result is people don't back the BBC, then the series doesn't run...

The journalist of this piece thinks you can topple Trump.

These are the donors we know about.

She went on to say that some individuals are now as powerful as nations.

I made my mum a 'Blue Peter' string holder for Christmas one year. It required a roll of string, some wrapping paper and an empty box of After Eights. We didn't have the latter so obviously I had to save up my pocket money and buy one, and empty it the way any 7 year old would.

I live in the UK too. What we have increasingly seen over here is Russia increasingly flexing its might: entering European airspace, and waters, sending drones and ships to spy on us etc. Because Trump has made it clear he is on their side not ours. Europe is rearming, and preparing.

Are these postcards from a stash belonging to a former spymaster?

She probably offered to play the part of one of the innkeepers who turn Mary and Joseph away.

Farage would fail. Already backtracking saying it would take him years to stop the boats which given he has made this his whole schtick... He could cut taxes, but then would have to cut public spending which would likely be unpopular esp, if it affected the NHS, and as for standard of his MPs..

Exactly, and not Messerschmitts.

In the US, are you kidding? What are you not free to do here?
December 9, 2025 at 7:39 PM
I love the 'everyone can reply' comment, because the vast majority of Russians cannot do so, something which Musk never addresses.
December 8, 2025 at 12:14 AM
Have you heard of Elon Musk & his crusade to turn white people against everyone else? Until this tremendous influence on Western democracy is dealt with, no one will believe the US has changed. He is partly for responsible for bringing Trump back to power & stirring up hatred not seen since the 30s

It is not a foregone conclusion but should be a public debate about what we have really lost (and gained) as we approach 10th anniversary of vote and 5th of Brexit. With Trump's US an unreliable ally, it is in EU and UK's interest to forge closer ties - trade and defence.
December 3, 2025 at 3:28 PM
If this happens, then Labour will have to go full on re-join the EU by banging home how much worse off the UK is because of Farage and Tories' failed ideology... or be wiped out. 10th anniversary of the Brexit vote coming up, and so timely to look at its consequences.

The right wing press are positively frothing at the mouth over the mansion tax.

The council tax for Buckingham Palace is just under £2000, I bet most people reading this in the UK will pay more. A lot more.

Left X around Feb. Then, I saw a lot of comment from MAGA accounts, & Musk's lambasting the UK govt about child grooming gangs in Northern England. Our Govt. has set up a national public enquiry: surely they should support the same for rich white men grooming and raping children in the US?
