i like how they wanted to list things that would be super forced and then listed two amazing ideas. like oh nooo, joe having to deal with being turned on by a loser, or ruth engaging in a highly self destructive relationship fuelled by hate. what a great example of things we already know works.

pretty much! there's some timeline shenanigans, like a character learning about their choices in the previous timeline and making deliberately different choices, but it's 95% a soft reboot.

it really is incredible how useless ads are nowadays. would i love to make a living wage from streaming? absolutely. but ads are obtrusive, irritating, and pay pennies. they've made themselves shitty and obnoxious on purpose and are seemingly confused that people don't actually like that.
