The real value of institutions like the ICC isn’t that they pose a material threat to genocidaires, it’s that they have the requisite credentials for liberals to feel secure enough to (finally) denounce war crimes.

having been to schools all around Massachusetts now, the disparity in income and ethnicity from one school district to another is jarring.
