I’m curious if either of the two targeted national guardsmen served in Afghanistan and could have had negative interactions with the shooter.
I’m guessing at motivations for his targeting these two in particular. I think it came down to a grudge the shooter experienced prior to coming to America.

I understand (sort of) the removal of the East Wing which FDR, a Democrat, built in 1942. It was “only” 83 years old… the Kennedy Garden was probably going to go with it (it’s gone).
But the EAST COLONNADE was also demolished. It had been there OVER 200 YEARS built by Jefferson. 1/
