Otto's weirder, what exists in my head is if you put Skip Hinnant and Billy Murray (the 1900s singer, not the Ghostbuster) in a blender. Casey and Otto both are manchildren but one's neurotic and warbly while the other brash and impulsive.

For what I'm doing most of my "study" consists not of playing games but of watching film, cartoons, listening to dinky novelty songs from over a century ago, and then trying to apply all this to a toylike setting without killing the appeal. It's fun but I feel like I'm an alien in discussion haha

If you were to hand me the option of either classic golden age of Hollywood screwball comedies or DnD tumblresque humor I would gun for the former anytime anywhere and as someone who does have an interest in pursuing games as a medium that makes interfacing with folks nightmarish and dreadful lol
