#NP Ten Holt’s “Canto Ostinato” for 4 pianos, the XXL version by Jeroen Van Veen and friends, released 2014, 4CD set, incl organ. Mesmerising. Might get to see it live next year in that Amsterdam…

Further back you go, the more cemented in are the choices, many on the basis of received wisdom (e.g. REM, Beatles etc). Closer you are to "now" the more it's just what you like as not enough time has passed for received wisdom to have taken hold. Richard advised >350 LPs were voted for re 2000-04
