Also, there exists a rather finite amount of clothing that I can remove, particularly in public, to have a comfortable body temperature. There is a vague physical limit to how much warming clothing, however, that I can pile on, ergo, learning how to deal with cold has been a boon.

I'm from here, but I was a swimmer for years in my youth. I, and my idiot friends, would drive home from practice, in January, with the windows rolled down, and our heads hanging out, to 'dry our hair' (the 90s were a strange time...). 🧵
