Batteries! Especially those dumb little coin ones.

I have a door opening sensor on my patio door so I get alerted if it's opened (or left open) so my cat doesn't get out.

$5-7 for a single little battery to power it for a couple months.

Unfortunately it is. We were really hoping for better from her - she was so promising in those infomercials lol

Maybe they'll let her bedazzle the new ballroom

IMO it's the opposite. I think that sounds alright if you're simply practicing a language you already know a bit. But if you're starting from nothing - how can anyone trust what they're being taught is correct? Pronunciation, grammar, sentence structure...

After raising several kids, she adopted three from Korea, and later fostered two kids from Vietnam. Even after the foster placement ended, she kept in contact and made sure they were still a part of our family. 2/6

if you think walmart's shitty review process accidentally listing a nazi shirt, as they have done several times in the past, is a real indication of anything..

seriously, if they were "openly selling" it, why would they remove it? If it's some grand nazification scheme, wouldn't they leave it up?
November 9, 2025 at 8:52 PM
What is "stuff like this" though? You've seen Walmart selling Nazi stuff before?
November 9, 2025 at 8:37 PM
And I'm not saying that's right! It's an issue (with all online marketplaces). It should be fixed.

But we all know how the marketplace system works. Stuff slips through the cracks.

So personally, I don't think it means walmart is "openly selling nazi gear"

it's literally designed to be a clever take on something everyone knows. It's not like it's a bright red swastika.

Again, people on liberal-ass bluesky can't immediately identify it - not hard to see how someone reviewing hundreds of products a day could see nothing other than rock paper scissors
November 9, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Yeah, I fully agree with that.

But that's not how it works right now. And everyone knows it.

Which is why I am not surprised this slipped through the cracks, and why I don't think it's as big a deal as you are all making it out to be.
