I'm about an hour short on sleep on average for the past two years. No wonder I'm tired.

I made a Lightroom Classic preset by feeding ChatGPT my current preset, a bunch of reference images, and copy-pasting the outup into LR CC ‘s settings.

I think about moving to the US just to drive a bunch of sick cars we don’t get over here

Who’s familiar with C-Stands with arms and gripheads? Are there any common pitfalls I should avoid?

My goal is to have backdrops as well as lamps be supported by two stands and a crossbar. I need a good height for full-body shots too.

Anybody with ideas they can share?

I was able to pinpoint the effect of AI on creative work in a 25-week experiment.

This’ll be the last time I post this essay. So give it a click and a read right now please. I promise it’s worth it.

Photography in the Age of AI: Lessons from 25 Weeks
Over 25 weeks, I tested whether AI can match the emotion and imperfection of human photography. The results? AI is fast and functional but still sterile. Here’s what this experiment reveals about the future of photography in the age of AI.

I'm so close to crying on a daily basis.

And I'm not embarrassed.

I'm proud.

I might finally be I tune with who I am.

For those in fear of AI 'taking their jobs' I tell you: be a human that serves humans.

✨ Photography in the Age of AI ✨

For 25 weeks I ran an experiment:
📷 Human photo → AI description → AI-generated image.
Could AI get closer to how a photographer sees?

Playing Minecraft on my iPad to zone out. Even there I adopted a cat from a random village. Now I feel sad when digging down to ores while this cat is meowing in my ear.

Just landed in Girona. Immediately drove to L'Estartit, where were staying for the week.

It's midnight. I'm hungry and thirsting for a pint. Everything's closed.

To bed it is then...

Yesterday, after wrapping up my work meetings (so many meetings, always meetings), I took the afternoon to myself. I discovered that the whole world is out there all the time, being interesting, idyllic, beautiful, peacefully there. It's so easy to forget that when you're stuck behind a screen.

Soul searching in Greece (again)
Tears of relief as I'm waist-deep in the ocean, trying to see if I can dance still. I can, I think, I CAN, I scream. So that's how we make our way over the island. Curious to learn, relieved the fire still burns.

Can somebody please make the same keyboard shortcuts work on both Lightroom Classic as well as Lightroom CC (for iPad) because it’s annoying to hit the ‘R’ key for the crop tool and nothing happening on my iPad. Adobe plz fix.

Wandering with wonder
Four cities, thousands of images, endless new impressions, one additional newsletter. April, 2025, was a rich, full month that allowed me to tap into my wanderlust as well as organize my thoughts a little.
