Yeah, I'm not sure if you realize, but India is in the southern part of the Asian continent, and Jamaicans are "black" in the sense of their skin color. As I said, she's identified as Indian and Jamaican for the longest time, and race wasn't the center of her campaign.

I mean no, not really. Harris herself didn't mention anything about her race, and it wasn't part of her campaign. However, she is on record in the past saying that she's Jamaican and Indian, not black. Let's not rewrite history and make excuses for her loss.

White Americans aren't called European Americans, so why are we still called by the continent our ancestors came from? Zohran's case is a proper use of the phrase- He's born in Africa and an American citizen.
