Ah! Okay, that also answers how they would feed ammo to the guns on the sides if those side rectangles were doors. They aren’t, so there can be volume for ammo feeds. Thank you, it was mildly bugging me.

NJ Transit has gotten so much better about communicating what’s happening with their trains and lines. It’s really nice and I hope that happens for you.
I think this was mostly because they wanted to (justifiably) point fingers at Amtrak, but useful info is useful and I’ll take it when I need it.

I got that a couple of weeks ago! Per @rahaeli.bsky.social’s admonitions to talk with one’s doctor when of a certain age, I did, and he did the titer test with my blood draw. Zero immunity to measles. 😬 Gimme that good stuff, right in the arm!

Depends on where you are, of course. Northern NJ is plenty hilly, I would say; in southern NJ there are some hilly areas but more likely there will be man-made sledding hills in the local parks.
