The 2008 olympics one is very good too because it literally oozed with undeserved guest starring from French athletes and celebrities that nobody actually remembers. Like, almost everyone in the last act is some sort variety or other of forgotten legend of their sport.

There are five but this is the only one that isn't complete rubbish. You can give a watch to the England one as well, "Asterix au service de sa majesté" but it's bottom of the barrel stuff. In comparison, the recent Fight of the Chefs, which is an animated miniseries on Netflix, is excellent.

To me most of its aging out is because it's such a classic that everybody refers to it all the time. Also it comes from the time France was enamored with Monica Bellucci and I think she deserved it she's both gorgeous and talented.
