I only had my dad around for 19 years of my life, now I sit here at age 30, empowered by new found confidence, strength and determination to make him proud, to fully see through what he saw in me. I will always live my life to the fullest, never taking anything for granted.

My dad was truly someone who never let the big C take him without a fight, he gave his battle everything he had. I saw him at his highs and at his painful lows, it was something I will never forget for the remainder of my days. But, I will also never forget the impact he had on my life.
