i went into the settings and adjusted all the levels myself which mostly involved making everything quieter and turning the music down even lower

a handful of recent sonic games have had the issue of needing to be fine tuned in the settings before you play and aside from fixing the audio balancing (dogshit by default LOL) dynamic camera makes the game feel awesome

i hope they include the og map cus i worry skyah will be less suited for 1v1s, but itll definitely help make 4-6 player matches feel more compelling and 16 player games in general sound like a blast. i wonder if team games will be a thing, thatd be really interesting in the absence of a smaller map

i really wonder what it is about the game that bounces off so many people trying to get into it. city trial has tremendous depth to it, understanding how stat distribution works reshaped how i viewed a lot of the more unconventional machines and now im gunnin for shit like slick star if it shows up

im not too bent out of shape if miitopia makeup is outright gone, the new miis look really nice and have a lot of great features (like how hair and bangs have been split up). the new selection of noses is killer, being able to not have a nose is itself a dream. v happy to see ears too
