there are many people, including myself, who voice exasperation towards the ex-head mod and his behaviors, how he handled the moderation and server, etc.

so while it's good news that he's now gone from server, it's infuriating that he should be banned for many reasons beyond the 2 years old "joke".

there were few people who brought the allegations to Qwel and the mods, but all of them got either ignored or silenced. what's even worse was that they had to sent tickets to report said allegations, which the EX-HEAD MOD HIMSELF would respond to them instead of other mods...

he was NOT a good mod.

also, to those who defend the ex-head mod and claim that "he has changed", i'll like to remind everyone that he had allegations prior to his ban; he allowed NSFW art of a minor's OC in server, refused to ban a racist person, used ChatGPT to respond to tickets and was borderline homophobic.

so no, this is not "overreaction" from the DW fans and players. this is not "nothing burger" or "just a dark humor".

this is something that can seriously affect the community and the dev team, even the game itself to some extent.

literally look at other Roblox games who got the almost same shit.

if the message was like a month ago, then the ban might be overkill and he should only be demoted. but the fact it was posted 2 years ago when the ex "co-dev" was in the team, it changed the context of ban TREMENDOUSLY and what Qwel did was something she should've done WAY SOONER.

also, are we seriously ignoring the date of the message took place in 2023, when a certain "co-dev" was still in the team??

they were constantly mentioning the mf's name when the ex-head mod got banned but none of them actually realized just how SIGNIFICANT it was. and i can't stress it enough.

from the outsider's pov, the gross negligence and the lack of proper moderation from Qwel's part towards her mods raise questions on the safety of users.

i know she's busy developing the game, but the blames are still on her and she has let him stayed for 2 fucking years after he made the "joke".

people have made several hate comments on DW community and called almost everyone in it as "pedos", so when the news was shared all over socmed, it fueled their gall that they now have had "justification" to harass DW fans and players relentlessly.

most of them are still minors, mind you.

i'm only in the server for Dandy's World announcement and posting my fanarts occasionally, but holy shit... i can't imagine what other things the mods allow to stay in that server.
