Posting about gaming, and whatever else enters my mind. Big fan of all things #falcom and RPGs in general.

Been playing Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober Teams newest horror game. Loving its atmosphere and tough as nails combat. As befitting any scary horror game, there are cute cats in the game that you can, of course, pet. #gaming #cronos #cats

Just started up the new DLC for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Pretty neat to also see parts of Rome outside the Vatican. If you explore a bit, you can also find a cat to pet (supposedly one that is not too fond of fascists). #indianajones #gaming #cats

Playing SW Jedi Survivor right now. While performance can be a bit rough, the game itself is quite stellar. Also love small touches like being able to pet these creatures, called boglings. In the first game you saw them from afar, but never being able to touch them (afaik). #gaming #starwars

Done with Trails Through Daybreak 2. Enjoyed this game quite a bit, despite a lot of naysayers in the Trails community, I thought that it acted as a decent extended epilogue to Daybreak 1. So sure, I can understand not being a fan of that, but for what it is, it's great. #Trails #JRPG #Kiseki

The subway one is actually kinda clever, turning it into a themed handheld mike.

My replay this year. Surprising number of new games I played this year, at 43% it's pretty close to half, and I believe even the other half is counted as "recent". Pretty crazy year for JRPGs in particular, with a new Trails games, Metaphor, and many others I didn't get to play yet.

Pretty neat stuff, great attention to detail too.

Continuing the theme of petting dogs and cats, the new Dagon Age also allows you to pet fictional animals, like griffons too. #gaming #dragon #age #veilguard

Any game that let's me pet cats or dogs is a good game. #dragonage #veilguard #gaming

Got back to playing more of Veilguard this week. Stil in love with how pretty this game is, and the party banter between Bellara, Neve and Harding is really nice. It's just such a positive vibe all around.

One of the most impressive things for me when playing Metaphor is how open and earnest the game is with its politics. One of the game's virtues is "Tolerance" and so much of the story is about highlighting bigotry and repression. The utopia shown in the heroes book too is great framing device.

Continue to make my way through Metaphor. I really love the social links in this compared to Persona 4 (haven't played P5). The shorter number of ranks allows to make each of them more meaningful, and the much lower number of followers means the game can put that much more time and focus on them.

Having a great time with Metaphor. Just hit the third story dungeon, and the game is still doing new and interesting things. While the connections to Persona are clear enough, it ultimately borrows from all of Atlus prior titles and gives everything its own unique spin.

Having a lot of with with Space Marine 2. Manages to capture the spirit of the first game quite well, and it's still as satisfying as it was in 2011 to use a jump pack and launch yourself into a bunch of enemies from the air. Only thing I'm missing are the orks, perhaps.

Been making my way through Ys IX, and it's pretty neat, with good pacing and great music. I think it does not quite manage to hit the highs of Ys VIII, but that one was easily the best game in the series so far and probably one of the better JRPGs of all time, so it's kinda expected. #gaming #jrpg
