It’s not just that This Is Spinal Tap is achingly funny, but that the story of the friendship between David St Hubbins and Nigel Tufnel rings true. They are more than funny caricatures, that’s what really sets it apart, IMO.

This is really worth reading as a reminder that very statistic is made up of individuals whose stories can get lost against the backdrop of a systemic problem.
