Yeah we have amassed a small video store's worth of DVDs over the years and I refuse to part with them. Our internet is unreliable and streaming services drop things too often for me to ever rely on digital only

This is exactly why I tell my father to IGNORE whatever the salesman is saying at the phone store or anywhere else because unless you get lucky they don't care what you want, they just want to make a sale and will tell you whatever they have to to achieve that

It's always worth celebrating no matter where it happens.

I made a novella free and it hit top 10 in one of their very hyperspecific categories and I still celebrated for the brief time it was there. It's nice to have that tiny validation
