I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

I was about to do that game where you respond with a movie set in the location where you grew up but I suddenly realized that I wasn't sure if it had to be the stated location or if the actual filming location still counted

These are the folks I adopted Horrible Babby Kitten from! Like all rescues they do a LOT of unpaid and invisible work for local animals, so if you have even $5 it would be awesome if you could kick in!
