🎉 Former foster Branwen (formerly Juniper) is celebrating her 9th Gotcha Day! Tamra reports that "She rules our household with a soft paw. She is a talkative house panther and we are her biggest fans. Meep, Meep from one of Branwen's friends!" Happy Gotcha Day, sweet girl! (And thanks Tamra!)

Esmeralda is SO curious about the Roomba. Not curious enough to get TOO close, but she will follow it around and keep a close eye on it the entire time it's working. (I always expect fosters to be scared of the Roomba, and they're almost always wary but curious.)

I love it when she talks to them. Also, I love that I think I get to have an opinion on whether the kittens should be coming out of the crate yet. If mama wants 'em to come out - they're gonna come out. She knows it, I know it, y'all know. Mama's in charge!

When I mentioned a few weeks ago that the vet had found a spay tattoo on Esmeralda, there was some interest in the topic. So here's a shot of her lying on the floor, with a circle around where her tattoo is located - and a close-up of said tattoo. It's 1 cm (just under 1/2 inch).

The Little Dancers are 3 weeks old! Their ears are slowly moving up the sides of their heads, they can hear, they're interested in the idea that there's life outside the crate, and their incisors - are emerging.

There was a fly in the house, and Esmeralda was FASCINATED. She chased it, but she never did catch it. Oh well - can't win 'em all!
