Almost finished ~ sometimes the smaller pieces often take the longest..
Been working on and off on this one for months, often just putting it aside for weeks. It STILL isn't fully done yet but getting there.
Love the 'Alien Bunny' vibes here 👽🐰

Current, but temporary, display of three of my works at Rotterdam artspace Kobalt & Co. Not the three I'd intended to be there for this particular show but having had a minor accident shortly before it's opening, I had no other choice. They still fit perfectly though! See ALTtxt for some context.

Been an eventful two weeks IRL bit looks like I managed to create SOME structure again. Even my art seemed to start living a life of their own. Like this one - it ended it up in a completely different piece than I'd envisioned! 😉

Some more work on these, in between working on lots of other stuff. So interesting to see how different kinds of inks respond to each other.

Some washed india ink drawing, using brush & drip pen only. Will work on these a bit more by adding some hints & shades coloured inks & white glacing to give the figures some texture & depth. Totally wanting to keep that feeling of looseness though!

Going to frame this little one & some of it's siblings into a 13x18cm (5x7") frame. Found about 15 of these frames in a thrift store: absolute bargain!
Series is called 'NOT Icons' and yes, will go up for sale SOON!
It is moments like these that I DO miss the "DM for more info" opportunity 😂

Going to frame this little one & some of it's siblings into a 13x18cm (5x7") frame. Found about 15 of these frames in a thrift store: absolute bargain!
Series is called 'NOT Icons' and yes, will go up for sale SOON!

Combination of acrylic inks, sumi inks & warercolour graphite on 20x20 (8x8'") stretched & specially prepared canvas. By that, I mean I gesso'ed the h*ll outta these and added an extra layer of textured gesso for extra grip.

Very pleased with how these are turning out!

So I've got a Summer Sale Art Event coming up and instead of just offering any cool stuff I have available, my AuDHD brain decides to create a whole new body of work - because that is how I roll 😆 Acrylic ink & paint on 20x20 stretched canvas. This series' working title: "Protection".

Also going to frame this lot with the firm intention (well, at least hope!) to sell them at an upcoming art sale here in Rotterdam. Series is called "NO Icons", acrylic inks/paints on paper. Miniature artworks, each wil come in a 13x18cm (5x7") frame including mat! Will show more later!

Busy with these! Series of 10x10cm mini artworks, depecting a bunch of my usual suspects aka my fable figures. Acrylic inks on stretched canvas, after I gesso'd the hell outta those canvases! These will go for sale during a special Summer Art Sale here in Rotterdam later this month.
Three bird inspired characters or as I call them: Bird People. Made with a mix of various ink & paint markers. They will all be used in various new mixed media collages 😁
Now, I only need to find the time to create all those! 🤣

Another one! Did this one with my trusted Faber Castell pitt artist pens: highly pigmented, india ink markers. Then added some extra whites on top of the darker bits with acrylic paint markers, which adds a nice painterly structure. Then cut out the whole character.
