I had one hell of a São Paulo night.

Not shown: the São Paulo night, as I was too busy having a São Paulo night to take pics. But I did enjoy all the sightseeing before and after that São Paulo night.

Our estate in Paraty was so goddammed beautiful I'm mad that we were only there for two evenings.
I'm butt naked under a waterfall. Shot taken from a hilltop on the "estate," looking out over the trees towards the sun rising over the nearby ocean. I'm reading under a rock outcropping on the "estate." A small stream with a waterfall is just visible in the background. Our delightful chef Michelle, having asked for a selfie with us, declared "not today, faggots," and blurred us out using portrait mode. She's flashing a peace sign and I adore and respect her so much.

We’re on a boat!

Circuit parties in Rio and circuit parties in São Paulo necessitated a halfway break on the seas off the coast of Paraty, itself just an absolutely adorable town.

Touristy shit in Rio!

But we *were* down there for Carnival, so of course I danced some of my nights away at the circuit parties … where in addition to enjoying hot Brazilian boys, I indulged in a delicious veggie burger with fries. 🥰

One evening I sat on the outcropping where Copacabana meets Ipanema and watched the sunset behind Pedra da Gávea. A local mentioned offhandedly that it could be climbed.

So the next day I impulsively climbed it!
I’m shirtless on the summit of Pedra da Gávea, with Rio in the background. Still shirtless on the summit with Rio in the background, but it’s more zoomed out this time. Three hikers in front of me doing a scramble up some rocks on the trail. Me doing some actual climbing, strapped into a harness and descending almost vertically; Rio again in the background. It was rated as an easy climb but I was still having a panic attack.

Looks like my first few photo dumps here will be of my recent (and first) trip to Brazil. Went with a crew of faggots and had a gay ole time on the beaches of Rio.

If I vanish in a few weeks it's because I'm seeking asylum there.
