I've been home for a little while and am camped out on the recliner with drinks and snacks. I'll most likely be sleeping here for a few nights.

I'm not in a lot of pain at the moment; more sore than anything else. Funny, it's the injection site for the radioactive dye that hurts the most, lol. I have some Tylenol 3 if I need it, but will try and see if the Tylenol/ibuprofen piggy backing will do most of the heavy lifting.

The lumpectomy is in the books. The surgeon said that he removed a quarter sized chunk of tumor and tissue along with three lymph nodes. He said the lymph nodes looked good, but pathology will have the final say. All in all, the procedure went well.

It won't be long! He's growing like a weed!

That's why I always make (or buy) extra frosting when I make cakes. It's glue in case my dumb ass didn't grease/flour the pans enough and it looks like the cake went through the wood chipper when I manage to get it out of the pan.

That's what whipped cream is for... slather it on. 😅

Aaannnddd... my results did not come back like I wanted. I have preliminary grade 1 breast cancer. BUT, my PCP said I'm going to be fine because we caught it early and it isn't the triple negative type. If I hadn't had the mammo, I'd be in the dark. So, get dat mammo!

I was 40 when I had my daughter. I wanted aaallllll the benefits of modern medicine... hospital, medical pros, drugs... you name it. She was tongue tied and I couldn't nurse her and, even in that setting, I still had one nurse offended that I couldn't breastfeed her. Ugh.

LOL my mom is almost 80 years old, been retired for about 15 years, and she's STILL like this. 😆
