I posted about how proud I was to have clocked up 55 rejections, with 8 submissions outstanding and one acceptance... and that promptly became 59 rejections with 4 outstanding and one acceptance 😂 I have visions of the enchanted mop & bucket from Fantasia going through everyone's inboxes.

Totting up my submissions, this year I've had 55 rejections, eight submissions outstanding, and one acceptance. I often think that someone who tried harder would have been published more by now, but on reflection, those submission numbers are trying quite hard.
