Ran into @zellnor.bsky.social's mother this morning en route to work. I let her know how much I appreciate her son's work & introduced her to the local community - Terrence's juice stand (cf. best juices in Flatbush) & free spots with good A/C.

It's going to be a hot one, NYC. Stay safe, and vote.

I can’t stop thinking about the voter I talked to today who said they make over a million and so don’t want Mamdani to raise their taxes. “I have 3 kids, a million a year isn’t that much in NYC!”
I looked it up and if you make a million a year in NYC you are in fact part of the 1%.

As of Saturday, the eighth day of early voting, 305,896 New Yorkers had cast their ballots, more than double the number of early voting check-ins during the same period in 2021, although turnout then was impacted by the COVID pandemic.

"ICE’s explanation: Those staying at the facility, some for nights at a time, are 'in transit' and not actually in federal detention."

#NYC brewers - brew a 3-day IPA named "In Transit" & donate the proceeds to @bklyndefender.bsky.social. 🍻
