Honestly it would probably still just taste like A1, but it would be easier to dip, like you wouldn't need it in a bowl... Gotta try it now

If you're on a diet and need a filling but low calorie snack/lunch - just boil up various frozen vegetables and throw some A1 on them - doesn't take much!

Progressive insurance is using an AI bot to text you directly for information regarding a claim and the experience is a gut wrenching nightmare. Constantly loses context and starts from scratch, at all hours, seemingly at random. It’s maddening. How many people did they lay off for this I wonder

Are there any good write-ups about this phenomenon? It seems clearly true, and maybe it's just "absolute power corrupts absolutely" but it seems different - it's not really power they have, it's just complete freedom from consequence or accountability though maybe that's the same thing.

I had these when I was a kid - I can still remember them vividly 40 years later - a full size real-ass tiger wandering into my bedroom, me frozen in fear, another time walking down to the basement and finding my entire family sitting in la-Z-boys as skeletons - INTENSELY real

Immediately started trying to trick my corporate Gemini 3.0, was a lot of fun. I did get it to tell me what criteria they use to decide whether or not to scrape a public git repository - presence of an explicit license file (MIT, Apache 2.0, BSD), and number of stars ("5, 10, or more")

I didn't know the flight number but yes - I remember seeing a show about that one and it did pop into my head. The other one was when a maintenance supervisor decided to help out his crew and remove a bunch of screws from an aileron but didn't log it properly, and a shift change missed it. Tragic

Did anyone else call this "hodge podge lodge" when they were growing up? i.e. just clearing out the leftovers in the fridge for dinner, regardless of what they were or how they paired? I loved it, and it was efficient

One caveat to this is when my visiting niece and nephew figured out they could ask alexa to play any song they wanted, and this was in the height of baby shark mania. That shit got unplugged real quick

For two weeks while hitting an insane software deadline in 2008 I must have looped the entire OK Computer album 150 times

I'm not sure who needs to hear it, but someone should tell them it's ok to win a boring game
