Sky sports interview - no I do completely appreciate there are those still hoping he’ll turn things around are keen to get behind it, but I just don’t see it and it’s becoming very Jesse Marsch in style and narrative.

If the club back him and he does manage to change things I’ll be very happy

1/2 is strange, if it was a few bets it wouldn’t go that far. Must’ve been some
Fairly strong betting patterns to push it that far.

Thing is, even now, he’s linked with West Ham in January, not even a whisper that we would take him back, which I just find really odd

The member gift coaster has set me off.

Just joined Al Sadd, sadly

Not sure he ever played for City though. Carl Griffiths, though…

It’ll be a relegation kit destined never to be worn after May 2026

I loved the lower leagues back then as a young teen- triggered by Kevin Sharp going to Wigan with Roberto Martinez and Graeme Lowe IIRC. Loads of character the old Football League in the 90s.

And I wonder why my wife gets furious that I can’t remember things she said an hour ago

Yes

Who the hell is Cohen Griffihs

It is the manager's system though: Possession-based but not enough quality to do it well.

Defensive minded recruitment but not set-up to play defensively.

Short passing style but signing a gk and striker who are much better playing direct passing style.

None of it makes sense, really.

But we should give ourselves the best chance, being so open and teams waltzing unmarked in to the box right, left and centre gives us no chance at all.

Our summer spends gave the impression of a becoming a tough team to break down yet we are anything but.
November 12, 2025 at 8:24 AM
He’s in the big league again, and unfortunately he doesn’t cut the mustard at this level. A shame, but should’ve made the change in the summer
November 11, 2025 at 8:06 PM
Unfortunately the people calling the shots wouldn’t have a clue where to look for not-so-hidden gems or how to attract them, as per the summer recruitment
November 10, 2025 at 7:47 PM
It could go either way, the club are dangerously obsessed with 'what has worked previously' though, so maybe they should look at Villa binning off Gerrard
November 10, 2025 at 3:28 PM
He should fuck off back to Norwich if he wants an easy ride
November 10, 2025 at 3:20 PM
They’re just delaying the inevitable. Should get rid now whilst not in the bottom 3 and plenty of time to turn it around
November 10, 2025 at 7:44 AM
Terzic would be a cracking appointment
November 9, 2025 at 7:24 PM
I’d say 4-5-1 with Bogle lumping crosses in makes more sense than decapitated poultry BA.

Why sign a striker in DCL who predominantly scores with his head if we aren’t going to lump crosses in at every opportunity?
November 9, 2025 at 7:17 PM
In part, yes, to your previous question I wouldn’t play either at 10 but we weren’t linked with a 10 all summer, so assuming the change to 4-3-3 was calculated by DF.

Recruitment targeted a defensive minded manager. Look at DCL, screams long ball football, as does Perri, yet DF style is pass based
November 9, 2025 at 5:58 PM
The long and short, we’re not organised sufficiently for survival. Farke rightly complained about lack of attacking signings but our defensive frailty and lack of midfield support is a bigger problem for me.
November 9, 2025 at 5:51 PM
In my opinion, a 3-5-2 or a 4-5-1 which is very organised and probably defensive minded would be the pragmatic approach with the players we brought in. But that isn’t Farke’s style.
