Also, in amazing news, got a home for the beautiful Lexie, a stray I’ve been trying to get a shelter spot for since May. She is 12, very underweight, and so affectionate it breaks my heart that I can’t take her. She will be safe, warm, loved and in a home from Friday #CatsOfBluesky

Also, in amazing news, got a home for the beautiful Lexie, a stray I’ve been trying to get a shelter spot for since May. She is 12, very underweight, and so affectionate it breaks my heart that I can’t take her. She will be safe, warm, loved and in a home from Friday #CatsOfBluesky
Violet came to live with us in Berlin 5 years ago. I had to change my office chair as she loved to sleep at my feet as I worked & I didn’t want to hurt her with castors. She eventually got out of the habit, but recently started again. No idea why, but gives me the feels #caturday #catsofbluesky

She hasn’t figured out the remote but she is interested in wildlife shows (understandably) but also… Killing Eve? (this is a rewatch for her, @glitterary.bsky.social informs me Vi was into it on her watch through as well)

Her current favourite box, which I have modded using a nite-ize cable tie to prevent it closing on her, as the one time it did she looked at it with such a look of betrayal. #cat #catsofbluesky

Rainy outside and I just got back from feeding the local strays and this baby is so warm and cosy, very gently snoring on her heated desk bed, cheers me up more than I can ever say #CatsOfBluesky

Good blood test results for this little monster means her kidney function is stable. Createnine down, phosphorous normal. Baby cat gets to be an old lady with me and I am teary with delight and relief #CatsOfBluesky

Violet had a tough day yesterday at the vet (checkup but she hates vets, hates being handled) but she has bounced back fast today with brushies, playing, purring, head boops and belly to the sky snoozes
