Multi-use city paths are one thing but I do see it sometimes on multi-use single track trails. When I'm a hiker I find that some mtn bikers don't know or follow trail etiquette and get aggro when I don't yield. That said, you're right that it's nowhere near what I get from drivers on the road.

This one near me is so f'ing stupid. It's uphill so at best I'm going 10mph crossing 2 lanes going 50mph for more than 500 feet.
