We get the leaders (& government) we vote for, it’s that simple. If the voters are too ignorant of reality, or the competent candidates are too ill equipped to communicate why their competence matters, this is where we find ourselves. I hate it, but we have the government we deserve right now.

I feel like I have passed into bizzaro world with the way he is being talked about. Hell, that he’s being talked about at all in ways that somehow make his tragedy more impactful than those of the students that also died yesterday is crazy to me.

I’m almost more ok with those than I am with how the mainstream press is reporting on the guy. The artistic photos and free speech champion nonsense are driving me insane. Absolutely did not deserve to die, but he doesn’t need to be glorified because he did.

I hope “changing the party” is as important as some people think. Objectively, Obama & Biden were superior presidents. Clinton & Harris were more competent candidates. None of it mattered & DJT won twice. When people choose terrible over good, why think they won’t still choose terrible over better?
