Couldn't commit to a 3 hour movie (Great Ziegfeld) so coincidentally watched Friendship this morning!

Mine is 4.75 (I would catch hell if I wasn't exacting with the age) so I've got some time as well but I'm hoping it's closer to 7/8 just to be able to experience with him sooner.

I actually watched these as I'm trying to knock out the Top 100 grossing films and could not remember Hobbit 1 so I watched that before 2&3.

I'm debating what age I can watch LOTR with my son because violence vs adventure is a tough balance to strike.

Yeah that's kinda my thought - I was 14 when Fellowship came out and was (appropriately) blown away and then it just grew with Two Towers and Return of the King.

So now, watching these, I'm just thinking how much is nostalgia just shading my opinion?

Finally watched the entire Hobbit Trilogy - it was better than expected!

11. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. A good movie but it just weirdly did not hit the same as the other Miyazaki films.
