I just paid the price for eschewing Goodreads. Picked up "This Thing Between Us" by Gus Moreno thanks to #BookTok. It started to feel very familiar. Thought maybe it had been made into a movie. Nope. 100 pages in I stopped, went through an old planner, found I had read & reviewed it in 2024. Sigh.

Are we all pretending we knew "clement" was a word? I've heard and used the word "inclement" an infinity times. Never, ever, heard or read "clement."

Kaliane Bradley's excellent "The Ministry of Time" is chock full of 50 cent words. This was one.
