When a child’s intrinsic (min-content) width is larger than the available 1fr, it refuses to shrink, thus causing overflow.
Wrapping it in minmax(0, 1fr) sets the minimum width to 0, allowing it to collapse below min-content and still grow up to 1fr when space allows
