So whatever I lack, at least I don't lack common decency or a desire to cooperate. I tried to have a good faith discussion, but being mocked and derided gives me the feeling that perhaps the Right has a point. That should fill you with sorrow, but instead I find you gleeful.

So that justifies mockery of those who are not your opponents? This behaviour isn't doing opposition against Trump any favours. I detest the man and his cult, but the behaviour displayed here by those who claim to make common defence against him drive me to conclude that they don't want alliance

Ever since 9/11 the use of military force without consent of government has been legally murky. Trump has acted no differently than other presidents using drone strikes in general or missile strikes in Syria.
I believe these are illegal in general, but according to US habit it is fine it seems

If they declare martial law without 'good' reason, the silent middle will not follow and will band together with anti MAGA groups into a majority. They need time to erode, through propaganda & 'incidents', the middle to come over to their side.

I personally believe that the Trump regime is trying to engineer large scale disasters. Large scale disasters will create even larger 'riots' when help doesn't arrive thanks to a gutted FEMA, which will allow the regime to declare martial law.

I fear a Spanish Civil War scenario, but Sanjurjo, Franco and their ilk were democratically chosen.
Over half of the officers of the Spanish army and navy were loyal to Sanjuro. The lower ranks were close to 50-50. Only the air force officers, the most forward looking, were the other way around

Doesn't matter. They are already consolidating control over the military. The top brass is slowly replaced with MAGA fans and those who oppose him are silent. When an uprising begins, the officer corps will side with this president and they'll know which units can and can't be trusted
