I mean, the bus is already theoretically faster from Union Station to Stadium-Armory. Higher-quality bus might entice some folks to switch rather than brave the metro center crowd on gameday.

Yeah, it gets worse for a while until somebody (I assume Metro?) comes and clears up the ballast. Really from there all the way down to the Metro stairs at N St you can't expect to go more than like 12mph.
